Verify events are flowing
Three places to check — in order of ease: PixelMili's live event feed, Meta's Test Events, and the raw browser network tab.
Option 1 — PixelMili live event feed
From the dashboard, open Events. The live feed shows the last 100 events as they arrive. For Purchases, the Orders page shows whether each platform accepted every order — and the reason, if one didn't.
Option 2 — Meta Test Events
- Events Manager → Data Sources → your pixel → Test Events tab.
- Enter your site URL and click Open Website.
- Trigger an action on your site (page view, add to cart, etc.).
- Events should appear within 1–2 seconds, tagged server.
Option 3 — Browser network tab
Open DevTools → Network → filter by collect. The tracker sends with sendBeacon, so the request may be listed as type ping:
POST https://track.pixelmili.com/collect
Status: 204 No Content
202 means the request reached PixelMili but was ignored — a wrong tracking ID, a domain
that isn't active yet, or a store over its monthly event limit. 429 means the request was rate-limited.
Common problems
- CORS error — your CNAME isn't verified yet (wait a few minutes).
- 404 on /collect — script's
data-tracking-idis wrong. - Events appear in PixelMili but not Meta — your Access Token is invalid or expired. Regenerate and update in Settings → Integrations.
